5. Лицевые стороны ящичков, на которые мы нанесли грунт, украшаем картинками из бумаги. Приклеиваем их клеем для декупажа и ждём высыхания.
Излишки бумаги по краям можно будет удалить при помощи наждачной бумаги, но только после полного высыхания декупажного клея.
We decorate a mini chest of drawers for spices and herbs using decoupage technique and additional elements.
You will need:
• Wooden blanks Mr. Carving (commode: art. NA-007 hearts: art. BC-030)
• Rice paper Love2art (art. IRP)
• Ground To-Do
• Glue for decoupage
• Lacquer finishing matte To-Do
• Acrylic paints
• Synthetic brushes
• Scissors
• Decorative elements
1. We apply white acrylic primer to the front sides of the boxes on which we will do decoupage. Let's dry.
2. The dresser itself, except for the back wall, is covered with dark red acrylic paint in one or two layers, depending on the hiding power of the paint.
We are waiting for drying within a few hours.
Z. Cut out elements from rice paper with scissors.

6. We cover the rest of the drawers with white and blue acrylic paint. We apply several layers if necessary.
7. After the white paint has dried, lightly age the surface of the drawers with a bristle brush and red paint.
We apply the paint with a dry brush, lightly touching the surface. In the same way, but with the help of white and blue colors,
we age the ends of the chest of drawers (top and sides).
8. We apply a protective varnish layer with the help of a wide Gamma synthetic brush. After the first layer has dried, apply the second layer of varnish.
9. Wooden elements in the form of hearts are painted with acrylic paint and allowed to dry. Glue them to the front sides of the boxes.
10. Next, we decorate the upper part of the chest of drawers with decorative elements in the form of pearl patterns.
They already have an adhesive layer, it remains only to attach them in the right place and press lightly to fix them. Ready!
